The meetings explored investment opportunities in pharmaceuticals, textiles, semiconductors, industrial gases, power transmission, tyres, IT and infrastructure, with industry groups expressing interest in setting up new units and expanding existing investments in the state.

During the programme, various industrial groups presented investment proposals worth around ₹90,000 crore across renewable energy, textiles, pharmaceuticals, IT, automobiles, real estate, chemicals and other sectors. These proposals are expected to generate around 14,375 jobs in the state.

The proposals include ₹71,289 crore in renewable energy, ₹5,000 crore in textiles, ₹2,280 crore in pharmaceuticals, ₹1,000 crore in real estate, ₹200 crore in IT and ₹400 crore in the chemical sector.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said the state’s central location, availability of land for industrial development, expanding infrastructure and skilled workforce offer significant opportunities for industry. The government is working to ensure easy access to land, power, water, roads, energy and other essential facilities. Implementing investment proposals on the ground and creating new employment opportunities for youth remain key priorities of the state government. He invited industry leaders to invest and expand in Madhya Pradesh and assured them of full government support in setting up their units.

At the Interactive Session on Investment Opportunities in Madhya Pradesh in Mumbai, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav held one-to-one meetings with the leadership of RPG, Welspun, Inox, Bhilosa, Ipca and Sun Pharma. The meetings focused on investment plans across sectors, potential locations, project implementation, industrial infrastructure and required incentives.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav met RPG Group Chairman Harsh Goenka to discuss investment opportunities in power transmission, tyre manufacturing and IT. Harsh Goenka expressed interest in investing in the power transmission sector in Jabalpur. The meeting also explored opportunities to establish new units by leveraging Madhya Pradesh’s industrial infrastructure, strategic location and investor-friendly policies.

Ratlam, Sagar and Jabalpur emerged as potential locations for a tyre manufacturing unit. The group expressed interest in assessing the industrial infrastructure and requirements at these locations. The meeting also explored the possibility of utilising the plug-and-play facilities at Ujjain’s IT Built-up Park, with the group also planning visits to potential investment sites to assess their business prospects.

The company plans to begin with an initial capital investment of around ₹2,500 crore and scale up the total investment in phases.

Discussions covered 200 acres for textile manufacturing and an additional 100 acres for ancillary units at PM MITRA Park. The land selection process is reportedly at an advanced stage. The company has targeted commencement of production from 2028.
